Stevie's Eagle Scout Program 2008

The ceremony was held in the little school house at the Hilltop Center.

This was a perfect setting for the ceremony because this is where Stevie did his Eagle Scout project.

He, family and fellow scouts repaired these porches, steps and railing of this little house on the property. Stevie wears his merit badges and Arrow of Light.

This tree was planted by the troop when Patrick was in the group. It has really grown and will look great when the leaves are all out this spring.

This is a display of the various steps in scouting to become an Eagle Scout.

Here are the Eagle scarfs.

The traditional Eagle badge, pins and patch

The Scout Eagle cake for Stevie and Joe Anderson is pretty and was delicious.

This is a picture before the ceremony begins.

The POWER behind the event: Elizabeth and mom Deb, the Scout Co-Leaders for these many years, with friend Robin Reinhard.

The Scoutmaster Mike McNabb puts on the scarf as parents Steve and Deb watch.

Mom gets to pin on the Eagle badge.

Guess who is the MOST excited!

Dad Steve gets an Eagle pin. He's pretty proud too!

Unfortunately, Joe Anderson's mother Debbie was ill and so he is just here with his dad Darwin.

Papa (John) was selected by Stevie as his Mentor and receives the appropriate pin. What a surprise and honor!

Eagle Scout Cousin Tim comes in from San Antonio for the ceremony.

Stevie gives a wonderful acceptance speech.

Dignitaries in attendance pose for pictures.
