Debutante Party

Pat Schotland, Nancy and Sami Cameron
Sami's granddaughter is a debutante and we are invited to this fabulous party at the Corpus Christi Country Club. It was a Mardi Gras theme and beautiful beyond words.

We each had name buttons. John enjoyed having his "two gals".
January Cruise

We are at Crazy Jose's in Cozumel.

Dressed for Formal Night

Our Table was such fun!
Tim's 30th Birthday

The party was held in San Antonio at Tim and Chelsea's house. Family and friends of all ages attended.

The children love to go in their herb garden and see what's growing.

Even though it was February, it was nice weather.

The beer and food held out!

Some of us stayed inside.

We "gals" are at the lake house deciding on the house color. Being pregnant doesn't slow Chelsea down!

Nancy is treated for a birthday dinner in May at the Saltwater Grill. Nancy Jeanne, Tom, Nancy, Elizabeth and John
Gatesville

Over Memorial Day, we go to Gatesville, to visit John's mother's family and John's aunt Frances, the last living of the 9 Brown children. She is 83 and sharp as a tack! The Dr. John Thomas Brown's children are behind Frances. To the left is ?, Mable Ann's daughter Jennnifer (Mable Ann passed away), Catherine Lee (the leader of the group and the closest to John's age), and Nancy (the youngest sister). Reb Brown is the son of Bob Brown, The back row, has Catherine's son (John David Fulton), Nancy's husband (Bob Pratt), Tom Brown (Frances' son), John Fulton (Catherine's husband), Nancy and John.

Frances with the Gatesville crew: Nancy, Reb and Catherine.

Our nephew, Greg Searcy, passed away in June. We was our brother and sister-in-law's son and lived in Wisconsin. What an outstanding young man, husband, father and community leader. He will be so missed!
Our Lake House Remodeled

From the road, you can see the lake in the background. We added two bedrooms (with the triangular windows), a bath, a large play room upstairs. We also "kicked" out the roof on the 2 "wing rooms" and remodeled the existing bathroom.

The three windows together on the upper right side is
the playroom. The room on the left has raised up windows on both sides.

The water side, shows the raised up windows on either upper bedroom. The original design of the windows inspired the new roadside view.

The fourth side, shows the two windows in a front bedroom, and the frosted glass of the tub in the new bath, with a crank out window in the shower. The waterside upper bedroom now extends past the slanted roof, to the bathroom, to allow for 8' ceilings. A dog pen is going to be built where the stakes are.

Tom and Nancy Jeanne's granddaughter graduates from Carroll High School on June 6.

We celebrate Tom's 60th birthday at the Outback on June 7.
July 4th

We have the Annual Cousin's reunion at the lake. Cousin Bill Holloway from Tulsa is enjoying his red, white and blue dessert, made by Deb, of course.
On the right is Deb, giving John a hug.

Cousin Susie from Tulsa and Sister-in-law, Gloria, from Dallas.

Chelsea's Baby Shower

Nancy is dressed for the parties.

Elizabeth gives Chelsea a baby shower. It was a delicious luncheon at this B & B, which caters events like this. She is standing with her dad, Woody.

The Wanns come in from Midland. After the Shower Luncheon, we go over to Chelsea and Tim's house. Stori is eating some snacks. Stori and Elizabeth visit.

The guys are relaxing on Tim and Chelsea's porch.

Elizabeth and Chelsea's Step-Mom Kathy are in the kitchen.

Chelsea is getting close to "due date".

Chelsea's Dad, Woody, is getting practice as he holds the Wann's youngest girl, Zoya.

This is Joe and Amy's cute house in San Antonio. It's 100 years old. It is about 2 miles towards downtown from Tim and Chelsea's.

Nancy and Elizabeth are back at the Lake House and enjoy the new sitting room.

John's gets an early birthday cake at the lake with an Italian Cream Cake, made by Deb.

Our family celebrates his birthday at the Macaroni Grill. Friend, Pat Schotland joined us and made him his favorite cocoanut cake. Tom, Nancy Jeanne and Elizabeth gave him this maroon throw.

Joe and Amy have a House Warming Party

We are eating on their large patio. This slab was poured for a large addition to the house by the former owners. It makes a perfect outdoor party place!

We give Joe this old Edison record player, complete with the thick records. It belonged to Nancy's step grandmother and is close to 100 years old.

Our son Tom and daughter-in-law Nancy Jeanne buy a new car. It is beautiful and will carry their family.

Our friends from Beaumont come to the lake for a visit: Carol Weatherall and Peg Towers. We have beautiful weather and get to enjoy our new house addition.

Great grandma (Nanny) with Conlan

In the cabin next door are friends, Claire and Marianne. Deb and Chelsea have brought Conlan for a visit.

Four generations: Conlan, Tim, Elizabeh and Nancy. This huge Cypress tree marks the wedding spot.

Celebrating their wedding with Conlan. What a special spot!
