Joe's Birthday
We celebrate Joe's 22nd birthday at Tim and Chelsea's house. We admire their new kitchen, which they completely remodeled themselves. Chelsea cooked a fabulous dinner with a sweet potato/shrimp dish and stuffed chicken breasts, followed by delicious pies for dessert.
Joe says he's ready as Elizabeth and Chelsea are working in the kitchen.
Chelsea is ready.
One pie has an Oreo cookie crust and the other has a graham cracker crust. Then there is a layer of chocolate mouse with a peanut butter mouse on top and chocolate topping - all from scratch and all made with whipped cream. Yum..yum! We used the Minton china for dinner, which was their wedding gift from us and had belonged to Nancy's mother and aunt. We're using these other plates for dessert.
Joe has blown out the candles.
His friends and roommates, Jason and Jesse, are invited.
Joe and Elizabeth - Joe graduates from UTSA with a BS in Geology in December.
Patrick has driven in from Austin for the party.
Elizabeth and Jay are proud of their boys and wish that Andy could join us, but he's still working in New York City.
We 're at the Sip Coffee Shop and ready to go to the Majestic Theatre to see the musical, Mary Poppins.
