Austin and Family

In July, our nephew Austin and family come for a visit. Here we are at the lake and the crew consists of Elizabeth with Lucy, Jay and Baxter, Barbara (Austin's mom), Wyatt and Katy (Austin's nephew and niece), Austin and Edie, Nancy and John

We begin the visit at our home in Corpus Christi. Elizabeth, Tom and Nancy Jeanne come over for a pool and pizza party. Austin and Edie are in the pool.

The next day, we head to the beach. We get a great spot - the car can park right next to the cabana, we didn't have to buy a beach sticker and the bath room is right across the road! We were near Bob Hall Pier and the sand was wonderful with a really clean beach.

Nancy and Barbara are not exactly bathing beauties, but the sand is pretty, the beach is clean and the waves are good. Since Austin took these pictures, we don't have any beach pictures of him and Edie, but we were all there and had a blast!

Barbara, Katy, Edie and Nancy visit the Texas State Aquarium. (Thanks to Edie buying the tickets!)

Although we miss some of the shows, we really enjoy all of the displays.

That night we eat Mexican food at Senor Jaime's. Edie poses with the rooster mascot.

On Saturday, we head up to Elizabeth and Jay's lake house on Lake Corpus Christi. Katy and Wyatt ride behind the pontoon on our new "blow up" water rider.

We have an Italian dinner our first night. Austin makes his famous garlic bread and Katy helps Elizabeth with the meatballs. (Lucy is just hoping that something drops on the floor for her to eat!)

Uncle John handles the breakfasts, but he also enjoys the lounge chair, as do Lucy and Baxter. Wyatt is getting dressed for playing outside.
