Trip to Austin

We visit Patrick at University of Texas, where he is a Sophomore.  He's in the Architect School and shows us his work station and projects.  Elizabeth is proud of her youngest son!

John is really impressed.  Jay and Nancy also enjoy seeing his work area, buildings and touring the UT campus.

We got to see this project as he designed it on the computer as a 3D model and then has built it.  It's an exercise - not a building!

This is the pool at his apartment complex.

That's our boy!!!

After spending a night at the Lakeway Lodge and Resort, where Elizabeth, Jay, Tim and Chelsea attend a Oil and Gas party, we go to the Petros.  This is the Friday night football game, where Josh plays football for Rouse High School.  Deb has worked with the Booster Club and loves watching her son. He is only a Junior, but is a starter.  The game is close and we finally win!!!  Yea Josh!

Here come the players!!!

Chelsea joins us and Jay analysizes the game.  John caused a fumble which helped us win!

Proud Dad, Steve, and Papa John watch each play.

Deb's nephew, Vinny, is in town on business and he hangs with us.

Vinny and Deb - Nanny and Papa (Nanny is crossing her 1st 2 fingers, which is the sign language for "R" and the cheer for the Rouse Raiders.)

Josh is in the middle of this group - #94, a defensive end.  Chelsea gives the signal and Jay makes an "L" for Lake Travis, Chelsea's old high school.  We're sure glad that Rouse isn't playing Lake Travis, a powerhouse team!

Our "booster section"

The Homecoming Dance is the next night.  Josh is all dressed.  Deb and Steve have a good looking son, who is ranked #3 in his class.  We are all so proud of Josh.

A group of their friends have this "before prom" party.

We go to Papacitas for dinner.

Vinny and Stephen (the older Petro son, who is a Sophomore at UT) join us for dinner.

Jay and Elizabeth treat the bunch.  (How nice it is to be grandparents!)
