September in San Antonio

Tim and Chelsea enjoy morning coffee out on their new flagstone patio, built by Tim. They will replace the back fence with a wooden fence framed like the new side ones that Tim has built. Every piece of furniture out here (and most of those in the house) have been picked up beside the road, given them by a neighbor, or made by them.

Their living room. The elaborate book case was built by Tim and the "wrap around" cabinet holds their stereo equipment. He has installed speakers all over the house and the front and back porches and patios.

The Dining Room - Plans are underway to remove the back wall and open these rooms into the kitchen.

The enclosed back porch have the screens removed and the windows sealed so their new Central Air can be quite efficient. The new fence can be seen outside the windows.

John and Elizabeth with Baxter enjoy their morning coffee.

Jay and Tim relax. The other fence, dog pen and dual dog houses are in the background. A typical Tim creation is the wooden table next to the barbeque grill.

Not to be over looked are the dogs. Chelsea is holding Snoopy, the white dog is Coco, and their 3rd dog, Perdita, can be seen on the left. Elizabeth and Jay's dog, Lucy, is on Chelsea's right.

Lucy snuggles in the rocker.

Chelsea treated us to gourmet meals, but we do go to lunch at one of their favorite sandwich places. Here is Mama Elizabeth.

Jay and Patrick, who has come over from UT in Austin

Patrick and Chelsea

John and Nancy, who has a huge bandage on her nose from a skin graph at the Dermatologist.

Joe, a Junior at UTSA, has his sandwich delivered to the house. It's great to have 2 grandsons there and 1 so close by. We sure miss Andy, who is in NYC.

We tour Tim's new office, on the third of the Petroleum Club Building. It's only 10 minutes from his house. The Petroleum Club is on the top (7th) floor, but it was closed on Saturday.

Tim's Office

His friend Justin and owner of JL Resources LLC has a corner office with conference table, etc.

John tries out their "hard hats" - a little improved style from the old hard hats at Mobil Refinery.

We celebrate Papa's birthday with a Chelsea creation.

Layered meringue, whipped cream, melted chocolate and strawberries ... can't beat that combo!!!

Patrick and his friend, Danielle De La Paz, who is a freshman at Incarnate Word University in San Antonio
