Higgins Visit
Nancy, Mike John and Marilyn enjoy breakfast.
We spend 2 nights at the McGovern's lake house. The weather is beautiful and we enjoy the evening boat rides.

We take a tour of the King Ranch and see lots of wildlife. Here are Javalina hogs, some small deer and several Santa Cruz hogs.
This cow has the right horn snipped. The "rolling W" brand is seen on his rear and the date the cow was born is branded above.
The cows tend to herd together.
Because of the recent rains, there is a lot of standing water. Here are two ducks, but one just went underwater as the picture was snapped.
The deer like to hide behind bushes. This was taken with the zoom on and cropped.
The Carriage House at the King Ranch. The Ranch was founded in 1832 and this building was built in 1909.
