Our Daughter, Elizabeth
Elizabeth was born December 22 in Fort Worth, Texas. Here she celebrates her first birthday. She and her boyfriend, Jay McGovern, are in the Neches River Festival - likely the last time in a tux and formal dress.
They were much more at ease at our Toledo Bend Lake House. In fact, they liked the lake so much that they married there on August 17, 1980.
They both graduated from Texas A & M - Elizabeth with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and Jay with a degree in Fisheries Biology. They moved to Corpus Christi after the wedding. Jay decided that Geology would be a better field and received a degree in Geology from Corpus Christi University. They have 4 boys. She is an Engineering Project Manager Consultant and Jay is an independent Geologist. Their sons are Tim (27), Andy (24), Joe (22) and Patrick (20). Tim's Web Site is www.tjmcgovern.com.
