What is a party without children? Here are daughter-in-law, Nancy Jeanne, her daughter Shawna and grandchildren Kathryn and C. K. (also known as Kristopher).
Our son Tom LOVES his granddaughter.

#3 Grandson Joe is getting some food. He's just finished his Freshman term at UT - San Antonio, where he made a 3.8. Wow! He's set a high standard for his brothers, Andy and Patrick. Granddaughter-in-law Chelsea and Tom are visiting with Joe.

Christmas Day
At Tom and Nancy's home, we open presents with her children and grandchildren. Grandpa Tom holds C.K. as Papa plays with one of C.K.'s toys.

James watches C. K. play. Wendi is there with her picture. Sure wish she and Matt could be with us. However, they are visiting parents in New York.

C.K. thinks that Santa Claus did good for him.
We then go to Elizabeth's and Jay's house. Papa is carving the turkey and Jay is sampling. (So what's new?!)
Katy and Hannah visit with Dee and Timmy, Jay's brother, who have come in from Mexico.
We're all glad to see the college "kids" - Joe from UTSA and Andy from North Texas University.
Timmy and Hannah enjoy the pumpkin pie and apple cobbler that Elizabeth made for dessert., Yum! Yum!
Andy and Joe have clean plates and Baxter wonders where his food is.
Baxter is sporting his new vest, which was made by Katy, Elizabeth and Hannah.
Patrick and Nanny were also there, but we didn't get their pictures. Sure missed Tim and Chelsea, who were spending Christmas in Austin with her folks.
Holiday Week at the Lake
We celebrate Steve's birthday at the lake. Deb has made him a special pound cake.
He's got it all! Deb, cake and a beer!

Maryanne and her granddaugher Kristen Weismantel have arrived for New Years Eve. We also had Evon, Bill and Cassie Kelly, Claire, Gary and Amanda Meurer, Leanna Gonzalez, Miranda Reinhardt plus the Petro family of 4, the McGovern family of 7, us (John and Nancy) and maybe more.
Lucy is loved by all!

We go into town to watch Patrick play a Soccer game. Jay zips Baxter up in his jacket.
