Kin Folks Trip

October 2007

Our first stop was in Fort Worth. Since we had lived there for 2 years in the 1950's (and Elizabeth was born there) and Tom lived there for a few years (and Wendi was born there), we took a picture of the Court House.

We stayed 2 nights with Austin and Edie and had good food and fellowship.

We then went to Denton and had lunch at the IHOP with Andy, a Sophomore at University of North Texas.

Our travels took us on to Tulsa to visit our cousins. Here are cousin Kitty, cousin Susie and Nancy at the River Walk Crossing.

We then drove to Bonham and had lunch with John's Aunt Lois.

Dinner that night was with John's cousin, Bob Arledge, and family in Dallas. Left to right are John, Nancy, Bob, Mason, Sarah, Clayton, Amanda and Marlon (Amanda is Bob and Sarah's daughter and the 2 boys are Amanda and Marlon's.).

We stayed in Plano and mainly visited with niece Jennifer and family in Frisco. Here is Nancy with Jennifer and daughter, Katy, at Katy's school.

Gloria and brother Bup joined us for supper at Jennifer's house. Here are Bup and Wyatt.

It was then on to Waco. We stayed with Jane and Aaron Thomas. Jane organized a lunch at the Olive Garden for some of our class of '51.

Betsy and Larry Pennington have moved to Waco and they had us and the Thomases to dinner. They have bought her mother's home and remodeled it. Larry cooked dinner (with plenty of help from Betsy).
