The Frio - August 2009

With the drought, the water is quite low.  Tubing was possible, but most of it was paddling or carrying the tube.  Consequently, only the kids went!

The Seven Bluffs brought back happy memories of Tim and Chelsea's wedding last fall.

The deer and cows mingled as long as the dogs weren't around.

Elizabeth watches the kids, who have returned from an afternoon at Garner State Park.  Most of the group came up Thursday - Elizabeth, Joe, John, Nancy and Andrew, Patrick's friend drove up together. Jay and Patrick weren't able to come until late because of the Calallen Football Scrimmage Game on Friday night.  Tim and Chelsea arrived on Friday.  Andy had just returned back to North Texas U after a week in New York City and so he didn't come.  The Petros came from Austin - Deb, Steve, Stephen and Josh, along with sister Kathy.  Claire and Gary brought their 2 kids, Amanda and Jessica and their 2 boyfriends.  Rosie had her 2 children Mark and Leanna and friends.  Marianne was there with her granddaughter, Kristen.
